A  jury convicted a man of sex trafficking Thursday, after what is believed to be the first trial of its kind in Williamson County. Eric Demarco Hamilton, 26, was found guilty of one count of Trafficking for a Commercial Sex Act, a Class B Felony, and the misdemeanor count of Domestic Assault.

Knoxville Man Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison for Sex Trafficking Conspiracy and Related Drug Offenses

Marcus D. Washington was sentenced today to 10 years in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release. Washington pleaded guilty on November 21, 2016, to one count of conspiracy to commit commercial sex trafficking by force, among multiple other charges.

Former NASA Employee Sentenced to Serve Ten Years in Federal Prison for Coercion of a Minor

Thomas de Matteis, formerly employed by NASA, was sentenced on Feb. 27, 2017 to serve 10 years in federal prison for coercing or enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity. Matteis pleaded guilty to this charge in November 2016.
