Two charged in Franklin prostitution operation

Franklin police arrested two people on Wednesday they say were linked to a prostitution operation at a Carothers Parkway hotel.

Officers began watching the Days Inn on Carothers Parkway after they found what they described as a sexually explicit ad online, according to a Franklin Police Department release.

Investigators said they saw heavy foot traffic consistent with a prostitution operation and later arrested Misty Ebeling, 33, of Las Vegas on promotion of prostitution charges.

After Ebeling's arrest, police later received a warrant to search a hotel room at the
America's Best Value Inn on Franklin Commons Court. Officers said they later found
marijuana, a handgun and other materials there belonging to Robert Swonger, 26, of Las Vegas.
