NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee has been named the number one state in the nation for laws that fight human sex trafficking.
Shared Hope International announced the rankings Wednesday morning in Washington D.C.
Tennessee scored the highest in the nation with 96.5 points. West Virginia and California were named as the Most Improved for 2017.
In a release, End Slavery Tennessee said the state’s “score this year demonstrates that a collective impact approach to fight human trafficking yields results.”
