Replicating Abolitionists

To replicate in other areas the success we've seen in Middle Tennessee, spreading the vision and passion to stand and act as modern day abolitionists:

  • We were instrumental in connecting people who started a coalition in Knoxville and an anti-slavery group in Memphis, and we bring to life the abolitionist spirit throughout Tennessee.

  • We also train churches and other groups in Tennessee and at times in other parts of the country. We inspire and equip these groups to engage in ending slavery in their own communities.

  • This is a grassroots movement using ordinary people in all walks of life. We have six volunteer groups at this writing: two in Nashville and groups in Franklin, Sumner County, Murfreesboro and Jackson). These groups further educate themselves on the issue and break into action groups focusing on various initiatives.

To arrange for a speaker or training for your group, contact us.

To discover the abolitionist in you through a volunteer group, find information on the Get Involved page.
